Making The Most Of ______ .

Hello friends! Long time no see.

I've been AWOL since April for a plethora of reasons I won't waste time detailing. Between a horrible accident my mother was in, multiple deaths in my family, illness, depression, and marital/financial strife, I've not felt much like writing. I know that if I'm going to continue on this journey I have to "push through" the hard stuff and stay diligent. But that got me thinking...

How do you push through when it seems you'll never get a break?

How do you find the strength to keep trying, when you're weary and want to hide?

I don't really have the answers to those questions. Because for me, I had to just let it go and not worry about deadlines, or growing, or working around the clock. I really had to take some space to just process and heal from everything; and I think that's okay too. There's a balance in life between gritting through the hard stuff, and taking some time to just breathe. I think that's my point here. I don't have the answer to those questions. But in my taking some time to step back and lick my wounds, I realized that I want to figure it out. How do you make the most of life when everything around you is falling apart?

So, this time away has given me a different perspective on what I want this blog to be about. I'm switching things up a bit, and following a theme of "Making the most of ____" [fill in the blank]. I'll be highlighting all kinds of topics this way, but with the common theme of making the most of it.

Financially, emotionally, physically...the parts of life are like, 90% mental. (not an accurate stat, totally just made that up) So I've decided to make the most of it, and live positively - as much as possible.

A lot of my daily blogs will be on my instagram account @Corina_Elaine. The lengthier posts will be posted once or twice a week here on the blog. (I'm also thinking about Vlogging on Youtube. So that's something to anticipate ;)

So anyway, the point is, thanks for sticking around with me through the silence. New content is coming, and I'm super excited to be heading in this direction both with my blog and in life!

xx,
Corina
